B's is great. Good donuts and fritters. It's fresh because when it's gone they are closed for the day. Any left overs are discounted to a very reasonable price the next day and are still of good quality. Good local business that any cabin people should support and passers-through should stop by for a snack.
Update (10/7/17): this bakery is being run by new owners and is now called Angie's Bakery. They now accept credit cards and still have tasty products. Still 5* for now.

I'd noticed this bakery once before when passing through Iron River, but didn't stop. Boy, I am glad I stopped this time. A classic little bakery with some great items behind the counter. The prices are pretty low in comparison to the bakeries in Duluth. I purchased two large cookies [garbage can & blueberry], and they were great. The blueberry tasted like a scone [very desirable]. There was a nice variety of donuts and pies behind the counter and a wall of fresh bread. What a great little shop.
